Visicut on Mac OS 10.13

Hi there,

I’m new and I’m excited to get started but I’m having issues running Visicut on my Mac. I’m trying to download Manchester’s settings and every time I try I get this error:

Could not download settings
Received fatal alert: protocol_version

I’m running 1.8-51 of the Platform independent zip.

Has anyone else had this error and fixed it?

Thanks Mike! Excellent shout, I don’t think I had Java installed so no wonder it didn’t work.

I can now see the blue laser and orange laser so I’m assuming it’s working! :grinning:
