WANTED - cool arduino stories & pics

Hi there,

I’m on a tight deadline to produce an article for Linux User on how
arduino has spurred a different sort of “open source” interest,
connecting with the creativity & playfulness of a diverse range of
people.

I’d love to hear stories of projects, workshops, and miscellaneous
arduino creations from anyone who has the chance to drop me a brief e-
mail in the next 24 hours - richard@sc.lug.org.uk

The article will also mention the hackspace movement in the UK, which
I hope to expand upon in a future issue

Thanks in advance

  • #hackspace tweets for NW England & N Wales

Thanks to everyone who helped with advice and information for the
Arduino article. I’m not sure to which hackspace all of the people who
replied offlist are attached, so apologies if I’ve missed anyone out
here in thanking John McKerrell & Adrian McEwen from this list. The
hackspace & hardware community in the UK are amazing. Thanks, guys :o)

I believe the article will appear in Linux User & Developer 84, out on
18 February.
They’d like some more Arduino content later in the year, and if anyone
here feels like doing a practical article on Arduino hacking, I’m
happy to put you in touch with the editors
Of course, were I a magazine publisher, I’d be tempted to launch an
Arduino title. The potential of these boards is amazing =-)

Meanwhile, (nearly) all of the links that I gathered in researching
the article are up at http://www.goodgnus.org/2010/02/cool-arduino-projects/

Cheers,
