Hi All,
As you’ve probably heard, we haven’t been able to get the lease extended on
#44, so we need to find a new space. This was always a probability with
the 3 month rolling lease we’ve been on, but we were hoping for
significantly more notice.
Currently we will have to be out by the end of this month. We are
negotiating with the landlord for more time to find somewhere new, but
should be working on the assumption we wont get it.
Worst case scenario we will put the majority of the space’s equipment into
storage for a couple of months while we get a new space sorted, but a
better option would be moving straight to a brand new space
There is a wiki page up for the search at the moment.
http://wiki.hacman.org.uk/Space_Search_2013 . If you find anywhere good,
post any information you have about it on there. If anyone needs a wiki
account, apply for one and shoot me an email to approve it.
I’m looking on this as an opportunity to get a better space, to try and fix
the issues we’ve had with the current one (mainly access and size imo), so
the more places we have to choose from, the better.
Hack on!

Are we going to have to move biolab and the madlab bits as well?On Mar 4, 2013 1:02 PM, “Bob Clough” parag0n@ivixor.net wrote:

I assume madlab will be moving their things into madlab itself. On 4 March 2013 13:24, Ben Dooks bjdooks@googlemail.com wrote:

Bad timing for me unfortunately as I’m off home for two weeks or so from
the 13th so I can’t be around to help move. I’ll try and get all my stuff
packed away so its easy to shift.
Cheers
