Ladies and Gentlemen Hackers!
It has become my mandate to arrange a seaside retreat for our members.
To this end I propose a journey to the quintessential English south
coast for a weekend of geekery, makery and general tom foolery! We
can enjoy the air, the weather and visit the beach! It also by some
awesome kismet, is the Brighton Mini Maker Faire.
In other words who is coming to help me display our stuff at Brighton
this year? I will be driving a van from Manchester to Brighton - all
six hours of joy! It can be a van with a crew-cab like last year
where we will carry Screaming Frank, the Projectorsketch and other
display items (not the water theremin!!!) and your good-selves to the
venue. Accommodation is kindly being provided by Brighton Hackspace -
like last time and it was a great crack! I promise to drive carefully
and considerately and not sing along to the music on the radio at the
top of my voice!
What I need is an idea of numbers…who wants to come and play?
Cheers
Alex
What date would this excursion take place on?
Saturday the 8th of September. I suspect Alex will be wanting to head down
early on the 7th though, for getting everything set up.On 15 August 2012 12:47, Paul Plowman madstunts@hotmail.com wrote:

I do beg the pardon of all concerned…
The date proposed for this excursion is the weekend of the 7th and 8th
of September. I would be driving down on Friday the 6th of September
leaving around four o’clock post meridian and looking to return on
Sunday leaving Brighton around three or four o’clock post meridian.
Cheers
Alex
P.S. If you are coming Paul you can dig out your driving licence and
counterpart now so if necessary you can drive the van too!On 15 August 2012 12:47, Paul Plowman madstunts@hotmail.com wrote:
