Workshop - Clean bench policy.

We need to start leaving things tidier in the workshop. The current level
of mess in there makes the whole area unusable.

What do people think to a clean bench policy? Anything left on the benches
that isnt on the approved list ( tools & equipment that should be on there
) gets chucked in a box, then binned the week after.

Unless there are any major objections, I’m going to start implementing this
on Wednesday. If anyone has any spare plastic boxes or similar we can use
to sort stuff into, please bring them in!

Maybe not binned the week after, cos sometimes I cant make it two
weeks in a row… But maybe anything left after a Saturday Hackday
gets chucked? As that tends to be the time when we do the most ripping
apart of stuff. Otherwise a clean bench policy sounds good

On a side note - did you read the Nottinghack’s handbook? :POn 5 December 2011 12:53, Bob Clough parag0n@ivixor.net wrote:

As of tonight this policy is in effect on the two workbenches in the
workshop.

Anything left on them that shouldn’t be there will be dumped in the
resurrected 2 month boxes (for stuff that looks expensive), or the bin (for
stuff that looks like rubbish.

Value judgements will be made by the person doing the clearing, so be sure
to clear your stuff away when you’re finished with it!On Dec 5, 2011 12:53 PM, “Bob Clough” parag0n@ivixor.net wrote:
